Professional-ethical principles in the activities of the social pedagogue

The article reveals the professional and ethical requirements for the social pedagogue. The social educator, working in the "person-person" system, should always remember about the need to comply with the requirements of the professional-ethical code. We paid special attention to the principles that guide the social teacher in the course of his professional activities. Fundamental principles are: acceptance of the child as he is; respect for the child's right to an independent decision; confidentiality; the responsibility of the social teacher for the results of his activities; decency.
