Professional training in the field of waste handling: experience of realization of the presidential program of training engineering personnel

The compulsory vocational training and further education in the field of waste management I-IV hazard classes is discussed. The issues of training specialists within the framework of the Presidential Program of advanced training of engineering personnel for 2012-2014 are considered. The experience and the main results of the program implemen- tation at the Polzunov Altai State Technical University are analyzed. The maximum effect is given by the professional development covering a wide range of questions on all types of environmental activity of the enterprises and the organizations allowing to make training as much as possible useful for the enterprises of any profile. The experience of foreign trainees at the leading environmental enterprises of Sweden and Finland is described. The positive aspects of the program for the University, participating enterprises and the region as a whole are identified
