The article highlights the issue of implementing professional competencies of educators in organizing a health-preserving educational process in preschool educational establishments (PEEs). The authors present evaluative tools for assessing the professional competencies of PEE educators. A structural and substantive description of the diagnostic work is provided, consisting of tasks aimed at testing four groups of competencies necessary for creating a safe and psychologically comfortable educational environment, conducting educational activities according to preschool education programs in a health-preserving mode, ensuring a safe educational process that preserves the health of the pupils, including children of determination and disabled children, and ensuring interaction with parents (legal representatives) of the pupils regarding health preservation issues. The results of a study on the levels of formation of professional competencies of preschool educators necessary for the implementation of health-preserving technologies are described; professional deficits related to the implementation of health-preserving technologies in the educational process are identified; and the educational needs of educators for improving their professional competence in the field of implementing health-preserving technologies in the educational process are determined.
