Prevention and counteraction to family violence in the Kyrgyz Republic

The scientific article provides a brief analysis of the legal framework governing the prevention and counteraction of violence against women and girls in the Kyrgyz Republic, legislation and practice. The family is the natural and basic unit of society and has the right to protection from society and the State. The well-being of the family creates conditions for the socio-economic stability of society, ensuring its security as a whole. Therefore, the state policy aimed at preventing family violence is becoming a priority social direction in Kyrgyzstan, and it has been receiving increasing attention in recent years. The modern family has lost its traditional features, which means that previous knowledge about it cannot be applied to modern conditions. Therefore, the state should have a clear understanding of the political, religious, moral and spiritual views of citizens whose upbringing begins in an ordinary family. Therefore, the solution of this problem belongs to one of the most important tasks of the state family policy. The problem of family violence is increasingly attracting the interest of both society and researchers. Great importance is attached to the search for methods and methods of its prevention. In addition, the causes, forms of manifestation, and consequences of domestic violence are identified. A conclusion is made for the main direction of state policy in the field of prevention of family violence, which is the comprehensive work of all state bodies and entities that protect against family violence.
