The purpose of the study is to substantiate the use of the drug "Immunofarm" for the prevention of mastitis in high-yielding cows. Four groups of cows were formed for experimental researches after their start-up in 30 days (control, experimental-1, experimental-2, experimental-3) with 20 animals in each group, the animals were selected according to the principle of analogues, and also the blood parameters of cows in 30 days after start-up were taken into account. During the study, all the animals of the experimental groups were under the same feeding and housing conditions. Immunomodulatory preparation "Immunofarm" was injected into the experimental groups of cows intramuscularly three times with the interval of 7 days in 30 days after start-up and after parturition in 8-10 hours and on the 7th day (experimental 1 - 4,0 ml, experimental 2 - 6,0 ml, experimental 3 - 8,0 ml). In order to determine the influence of blood index on the manifestation of subclinical mastitis in highly productive cows when using different doses of the preparation "Immunofarm" in the studied groups of cows, the morphological, biochemical composition of cows and indices of natural resistance were studied. According to the data of the study in cows before the study blood indices do not correspond to the threshold value. According to the results of experimental studies, using the preparation "Immunofarm" at the dose of 6,0 ml provides increase of haemoglobin in the blood by -13,80 g/l, platelets - 164,9-109/l, segmented neutrophils - 6,74 %, monocytes - 2,15 %. The indices characterizing natural resistance of the organism of cows which have received the preparation in the dose of 6,0 ml are higher in the following gradients: by 7,31 % for the phagocytic activity of neutrophils and by - 6,61 % for the bactericidal activity and by 4,57 % for the lysozyme activity which helped to reduce symptoms of subclinical mastitis by 50 % if compared with the control.
