The article presents a brief overview and the author’s own experience of using a number of cognitive-behavioral methods and approaches, such as cognitive restructuring, skills training, social learning to prevent teenagers’ risky behavior, namely, the use of drugs, extreme hobbies and sexual risk behavior.
