Prevention of eimeriosis indices

In this article, we present the results of an experimental study on the prophylactic efficacy of the drug deprot-erin in turkey eimeriosis, as well as the effect of this drug on safety, the weight gain of birds, the weight of the carcass and the percentage of meat yield. It is established that the drug in a dose of 30 mg per kg prevents the development of the emeres. Preservation of turkeys during the growing period (98 days) with subcutaneous administration of the drug deprot-erin was 100%, with alimentary - 83.4%, in control - 71.4%. The difference in weight between the experimental and control groups over the growing period was 253 g with subcutaneous and 73 g with alimentary administration. The yield of meat from turkeys killed on the 98th day after subcutaneous injection was more by 5.9%, with alimentary - by 2.1% compared to control birds.
