Prognostic value of hemogram indices in patients having hepatic cirrhosis of viral and alcoholic etiology

Aimed at defining value of hemogram indices in the forecast of 6 months mortality of patients having hepatic cirrhosis (LC), the prospective study was performed in 246 patients (113 men and 133 women, aged 17-75 years) having LC of a viral (HBV, HCV, HВV+HСV) and alcoholic etiology. Hemogram indices were assessed in all patients. The assessment of hemogram indices is concluded to allow to forecast the course of LC which is very important for definition of treatment strategy and decision of social problems of patients.
