When assessing the relationship of the traits predicted by the genomic assessment of parents with the actual results of offspring genotyping, a high and average positive correlation level was noted. The highest value of the coefficient was found in the lifetime profit index (LPI). It was also found that with a deviation from the actual value of 0,5%, it is possible to predict the average value of LPIs for offspring. For other indicators of productivity, health and fertility, the accuracy ranged from 0.9% to 16%. The difference in the genetic potential of the parents' traits does not significantly affect the accuracy of the forecast. The minimum number of parent pairs at which such forecast accuracy will be maintained is 357. At the same time, significant standard deviations and confidence intervals of the difference between calculated and actual values limit the ability to predict the breeding value of offspring in a particular parent pair.
