Having examined 102 pregnant women with gestational complications and 50 women with physiological pregnancy it was established that pathological course of pregnancy is accompanied by the decrease in concentration of the factor of placenta growth in blood serum. The most expressed decrease in level of marker was observed in women with adverse perinatal outcomes. The estimation of test clinical informativeness has allowed to establish a diagnostic threshold of concentration of marker to forecast perinatal outcomes: with the decrease in concentration of the factor of placenta growth to less than 350 pkg/ml on the 28-32 weeks the risk of adverse perinatal outcome increases 3.7 times. Inclusion of the given marker in the program of pregnant women inspection allows objectively estimating the risk of pregnancy complications and perinatal diseases development and can assist in choosing the term and the way of delivery which should be largely defined by the functional condition of a feto-placentary complex.
