Predicting the level of digital development based on neural networks

Problems of predicting arise in various disciplines, and the literature on predicting using neural networks is scattered across different areas, making it difficult for researchers to be aware of all the work done to date. The following article describes the possibility of predicting economic indicators using artificial neural networks. The authors have constructed an autoregressive neural prediction for the global innovation index. It is based on the level of innovation development in 132 countries and includes 81 indicators. The research has concluded that there is a slight decrease in the level of innovation development in Russia. Russia is characterized by the weakest positions in the indicators of «institutions» and «infrastructure» evaluation.
