Forecasts in the regional management: goals and objectives

With the current state of the global economy, there is great uncertainty and a significant level of economic risk. Socio-economic forecasting is to, on the one hand, to find out the prospects for the nearest or the more distant future, on the other hand, help to optimize current and future planning and regulation of the economy, based on projections. The article describes a system of forecasting of socio-economic development of the region in modern conditions, defined goals, objectives, stages of development forecasts. Discloses the principle of a systematic approach in forecasting the socio-economic development of the region.
