Progress as a factor of historical memory loss

The article is based on years of teaching experience in the field of training and re-training of museum specialists of the author analyzes the situation in the professional field of preservation of historical memory. Presents a typical error of museum specialists in the area of interpretation of material cultural heritage. In the article it is explained by objective reasons. The changes in social relations, political and industrial technologies accelerate the death of former relations and technology. Historical time is accelerated. In this regard, concepts about the essence, the essence of phenomena and processes on the meaning and use items die. For example, a museum often demonstrate the lack of understanding of the realities of the past. In this regard, the question of the essence of the educational process in the preparation of specialists in the field of security, examination and promotion of cultural heritage. For many humanities are important not only multi-disciplinary knowledge (technology of processing of wood, metal technology, technology of dyeing fabrics, etc.), but also the understanding of the essence of phenomena with global scientific, technical, social, political progress going in the past.
