Progressive and current ideas of M. M. Speransky on carrying out reforms of the system of state and legal structure

The paper examines the reformist ideas and lawmaking of M.M. Speransky, which are relevant to the present time. Parallels are drawn between the era of the beginning of the XIX century and the ongoing reforms and changes and the situation in the development of state-legal relations in our days. Special attention is paid to audits and administrative reforms in Siberia.
