Articulatory variants in the modern German language

There is analyzed the language situation in German language countries - Germany, Austria, Switzerland, regarded the issues of interrelations of the German literary language and the dialects, issues of language standards at the level of aural perception. There is substantiated the necessity of investigations of the sound and prosodic functioning regularities of the phonetic system of the modern German literary language in regional variants on the material of spontaneous speech texts.
