Proceedings on the imposition of a monetary penalty

The article deals with the specifics of the proceedings on the application of a measure of procedural coercion in the form of a monetary penalty. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the order of its imposition, the timing and procedure for the execution of a court decision. The conclusion is made about the need to simplify the procedure for applying this measure of procedural coercion, as well as the development of its legal regulation in the direction of strengthening the coercive potential and introducing a mechanism that stimulates the subsequent lawful behavior of participants in criminal proceedings.
