Procuracy supervision as a guaranty of adherence to norms of natural resources legislation in the sphere of forest use

The leading problem raised in the study is the imperfection of the existing system of prosecutorial supervision in the field of forest protection, causing harm to forest areas by forest users by violating fire safety rules in forests, as well as polluting the forest ecosystem. The main purpose of the study is to identify and substantiate the significant shortcomings of the national legislation regulating prosecutorial supervision in the field of forest protection. The study contains excerpts from the theoretical works of significant experts whose works are devoted to prosecutorial supervision in the field of forest management. The article also presents statistical indicators that reflect the impact of committed offenses on environmental safety in forests.
