Pomor calendar of White Sea winter coast

Fishing and sea-hunting were traditionally the main occupations of the Pomors of the Winter Coast of the White Sea. The article describes the main fishing and sea-hunting rites and rituals. Moreover, the paper analyzes omens, prohibitions, prescriptions, beliefs, sayings, and holidays connected with fishing and sea hunting.
