Educational activities of socio-cultural subjects

Question of need to create conditions for development and selfrealization of individual by means of educational activities is considered, which is relevant in context of solving problems of state cultural policy of modern Russia. Characteristics of subjects of sociocultural sphere, which implement educational activities of various directions among different groups of population, are given. The relationship of educational activities with informal and nonformal education of adults and children is emphasized, and role of traditional cultural institutions, nonprofit organizations, creative spaces in implementation of educational and educational activities, taking into account norms of current legislation, is substantiated. The conclusion is made about social value of education as a factor that ensures the priority of cultural and humanitarian development of individual and society, as well as an important tool for formation of a unified cultural, educational, information space of country.
