Educational and publishing activity of M. M. Kheraskov and "travels of the mind" of the Russian cultural society of his time

This article explores the relationship of rationalist philosophy of freemasonry with «the journeys of the mind» by M.M.Kheraskov and his literary community, analyses texts of their moral essays in 1760th magazines. The history of development of Russian spiritual culture of the eighteenth century contains many controversial and unread pages. One of them is history of the Russian freemasonry as philosophical, ideological current among the conceiving circles of the Russian society and its influence on literary process about what both in last and in modern works there are sometimes very contradictory judgments, sometimes simplification of difficult and ambiguous processes. The paradox of spiritual development of the whole 1760th generation of the Russian educated people at assimilation of the Western European Education ideas and works of the antique philosophers which were based in them basis is consisted in the following. The rationalism based on knowledge of a nature and the ideal moral of stoik, led the Russian freemasonry philosophers to harmonious merge of reason wisdom to the doctrine of the Scripture - to the beginnings of Christianity.
