Protestantism was created during the Reformation in 16th century and now includes all the Christian Churches and cults. Protestantism got its name from the official protestation against the 1529 Diet of Speyer decision, which deprived the prince of his right to choose the religion for his subjects. Protestantism does not completely share Christian principles but its main statements are the following: the salvation can be achieved only with the help of person’s own belief without the help of the Church, the Bible and not the Holy Scripture is holy and has authority. Conclusion: these principles of the chosen few made it possible to cop out all the Christianity symbols except the Baptism and the Eucharist. The act of worship was gradually becoming the sign of community membership, which resulted in the elected priest preaching, collective prayers and psalmody.
