Contradictions of competences in federal state educational standards

The article attempts to reveal the main reasons for the ineffective reform of education, in particular, higher education, through the analysis of the content of the competencies inherent in educational standards. On the basis of the revealed contradictions of some competencies, as well as the involvement of the dialectical way of thinking, a formal approach to the competence paradigm of higher education is revealed.
