Provincial everyman in the revolutionary process of 1917

The author reveals the perception of the revolutionary events of 1917 by the inhabitants of the Volga region; she analyzes the attitude of the city everymen to the ongoing socio-political changes in the state. The field of the study is presented with their understanding of freedom and equality, as well as the forms of expression of their position.
