Psychoanalytic aspects of anorexia nervosa

The work considers studies of the problem of anorexia nervosa by academic psychology (on the example of domestic studies), revealed problem areas, which lead to a simplified idea of the specificity of this disease. A psychoanalytic view of the causes of anorexia nervosa is presented. The article also provides a psychological profile of families in which children who later became anorexic were raised.
