The article contains the results of developing a psycho-diagnostic model of forecasting the psychological preparedness of strength athletes. For the model to be developed 115 strength athletes were examined for the assessment of the level of their psychological preparedness and their success in competition. By means of regression analysis based on informative indices of psychological tests, the author developed and evaluated a model (algorithm) of forecasting the psychological preparedness of strength athletes.
