At the present stage of society’s development, the issues of demography, family and upbringing in the family are an important and urgent problem for the state. However, despite the financial and social support of families, the problem of psychological support of parents remains largely unresolved, in particular, solving the problem of emotional burnout of parents. The aim of the study is to diagnose the levels of emotional burnout of parents of preschoolers and to identify ways of psychological assistance to them. The study used a standardized method of data collection: a questionnaire based on the methodology of L. Bazaleva. As a result of the study, empirical data were obtained on the levels of emotional burnout of women aged 25 to 46 years. Based on the degree of manifestations of indicators of emotional burnout, three groups of women-mothers raising preschool children were identified. Women with a low indicator of emotional burnout accounted for 26% of the total sample; 54,3% of respondents with partially expressed indicators of emotional burnout; 19.5% of mothers are characterized by a high level of emotional burnout. The most frequently noted symptoms are in the “resistance” and “exhaustion” phases. The following features of the study were revealed: mothers aged 40 to 46 years of this sample are included in the group with a low indicator of emotional burnout; women with three children are not characterized by symptoms in the phases of “resistance” and “exhaustion.” The authors determined the directions of psychological assistance to respondents in the form of prevention and correction of emotional burnout. The results obtained can be applied in psychological counseling and correctional and developmental work with women.
