Background. Medical personnel need high resilience to perform their duties. However, studies about resilience in medical personnel who work with AIDS patients are scarce. There is a disparity between the demand for programs aimed at improving and maintaining resilience in medical workers and the absence of related studies that lay the foundations for such programs.
