The psychological features of teaching graphic disciplines to students of Junior courses of technical universities are considered. The experience of student-centered approach in teaching engineering and computer graphics to students is presented. Among the advantages of the approach are high efficiency and memorability of knowledge due to the involvement and independence of students.
