The psychological problems of the artists professional consciousness development

The article presents the state-of-the-art review of style-formation problems in the history of the fine arts. The author underlines the parallelism between cultural-historical processes of style evolution and mental processes of art consciousness of creators. The problem of a pedagogical reflexion of the given processes reveals didactic strategy of training style skill to beginning artists.
