Psychological analysis of environmental resource of workers in diamond mining, logging and oil and gas production facilities in the Far North

Adaptation to extreme factors of shift work in the Far North is a system which is characterized by constant cycles of «adaptation - readjustment», that result in adaptation improvement of rotational specialists. The choice of the optimal adaptation strategy in professional activities is influenced by environmental (labor office) and personal (psychological characteristics of the employee) resources. To solve the problems of the research the authors made an attempt to structure the components of environmental and personal resources of oil and gas workers, diamond mining and timber industries. Comparative analysis showed that rotational workers of timber company have higher environmental resource, whereas the rotational personnel of oil and gas production have the average resource, lower environmental resource belongs to the specialists of diamond mining company.
