Psychology of paternity: trends in research of the role of the fathering the parent

The article is devoted to issues of fatherhood in modern society and patterns that affect family development. Studies of the phenomenon of fatherhood are dictated by the activity of fathers and the interest of society. The adoption of the role of father by society contributes to the full and comprehensive development of the younger generation. Analysis of the studies indicates the need for a systematic study of the role of the father in parenthood, the contribution of the parent to the mental formation of the child.
