Современная литература по психологии личности показывает, что из-за высокой потребности в социальном доминировании на руководящих должностях можно найти множество представителей темной триады (нарциссов, макиавеллистов и психопатов). Однако, темная сторона лидерства по-прежнему относительно недостаточно изучена в отечественной литературе. темные лидеры представляют собой часть той лидерской реальности, которая включает в себя, эгоистичный и импульсивный характер, также они могут быть эффективными и успешными, как яркие и ориентированные на общественное мнение лидеры. Кроме того, в данной статье будут обсуждаться как сильные, так и слабые стороны темной триады. С одной стороны, темные лидеры имеют такие сильные стороны как уверенность в себе и доминирование; с другой стороны, знание о слабостях темных черт лидера может быть использовано для их эффективной нейтрализации.
