Psychological and pedagogical characteristics of the inner world of railway workers

The article makes up a psychological and pedagogical characteristics of the inner world of railway workers. The authors estimate current relevant fields of providing security at the objects of company “Russian Railways”. The main priorities of providing security are stable transport complex functioning and protection of interests of person, society and state in the sphere of railways from illegal interference. The article comprises the results of the empirical research of the railway workers’ inner world at an early and middle maturity age which are the basis for developing the mentioned characteristics, the latter being an important element in prevention of railway workers’ involvement in embezzlement of the Russian Railways property and transported cargo. It is also important for taking measures to prevent terrorism and improve labour discipline.
