Psychological and pedagogical aspects of learners’ mind mapping skills developing

Information mapping can be defined as a graphical representation of connections between key concepts and notions related to a certain field of knowledge in order to form systemic views about it in students. The stages of construction of such intellect maps are considered. The peculiarities of creating an individual map and collaborative work of a whole group of students are highlighted. Recommendations are given to accelerate and facilitate this work, contributing to the assimilation of techniques for drawing maps containing the theoretical material of the subject under study.
