Psychological and pedagogical aspects of teaching left-handed children in piano classes in modern children's music schools and schools of arts

The article considers running of mental reactions of left-handed students. Type of mental functions of left-handed is formed as involuntary and non-verbal. Left-handers have a high level of conceptual thinking and cope with intellectual tasks usually better than peers. But they need more time to "join the task". When working with these students a teacher should have such an ability which is called "the distribution of attention between several objects” in psychology. It is necessary not only to explain the material and listen to the performance of a student, but also to control the measure of imitation, correct it, record the dynamics of the psychological state of the student. The paper shows learning algorithm of left-handed students in the piano class of children's music school and children's school of arts.
