The article deals with the topical issues of students’ training for the unified state exam in a foreign language that is still seems to be questionable among parents and even teachers. The issue of complex psychological and pedagogical support of high school students who face stress and self-distrust in the process of fulfilling testing and examining tasks is in the focus of our attention. There is underlined that teaching check and examination strategies of mastering foreign language speech activity is based on trust relationships between students and teachers. Meanwhile teacher’s efforts are directed to the development of cognitive and communicative personal potential, the introduction of efficient tactics and methods of fulfilling typical testing and examining tasks.
