This article examines the problem of additional education in Russia, namely, what place the teacher occupies in the training activities of students and what role he plays for the formation of motivation and increasing their level of development. The ways of solving problems that help the trainer - teacher to achieve the set tasks with minimal effort and time are considered. The issues of improving the psychological and pedagogical aspects in the activities of teachers, which are aimed at the individual characteristics of the student, are discussed. The role of the acquisition of professional competencies of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process by the teacher is indicated. The results of a number of studies of psychological and pedagogical aspects in the process of educational activity are considered. It covers problematic issues related to the high requirements of the organization of the educational process, which involve improving its quality and accessibility. The list of factors influencing the training process is given, as well as a strategy for its effective management is developed.
