Psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of information and communication competencies of future librarians

The relevance of the research is due to the stage of rapid transformation processes of technological and social conditions, which creates in the educational space the need to correct the organization of the training program of library specialists. New requirements for the practical activities of librarians are being formed. For the realization of the conceptual tasks of vocational education, an important component is the psychological and pedagogical conditions for the training of qualifi ed personnel, which implies the use of modern approaches in teaching in the educational process using innovative forms, methods and means. The article presents the results refl ecting the problem of training librarians for professional activity in the modern digital environment, as well as ways to eff ectively organize the educational process in the context of the formation of information and communication competencies of students in higher education. The results of implementation and integration into the educational process are presented innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching, eff ective educational concepts and programs in the conditions of higher professional education in Kazakhstan.
