This article considers certain aspects of the influence of psychology on the provision of physical education and sports of the student, as well as specific areas of activity of the teacher - coach in this area, related not only to the physical education of the person, but also to the study of the psychological characteristics of the athlete. The study gives the most accurate ideas about the essence of an individual - a personal approach in terms of physical education, sports and development. By logically analyzing existing problems, their possible solutions in the specified area are determined.
