We present the results of the study psychosemantic assessments of violence in the feature film, the audience of students and their severity of depression. It was found that a film with scenes of violence compared to those estimated in the motion picture is semantically a negative way, but as “active” and “strong”. At the same time the audience was reduced the severity of depression. The results of analysis of variance revealed that the audience psychosemantic assessment of violence in the movie and the severity of their state of depression vary together.
