Psychosocial factors and professional stress among men of employable age

The aim of the research: to find out the interrelation between psychosocial stress level and behavioral risk factors. 108 men 22-55 of age have been examined; all of them are locomotive drivers and assistant drivers at motive-power depot of Barnaul railway station. All examined men underwent vascular heart disease risk factors exam, psychoemotional state has been estimated according to Reader's psychosocial stress scale (stress level assessment) and HADS scale (anxiety and depression assessment). According to Reader's scale results two groups have been formed: the first group - 68 high-stressed workers from foot#plate staff (65.4%), 40 low-stressed workers were included into the second group (38.5%).
