The data of 173 patients demonstrate the possibility of developing psychotic states due to the use of synthetic cannabinoids at the stage of episodic and systematic use, as well as at all consecutive clinical and dynamic stages of the development of the dependence syndrome. According to clinical and dynamic characteristics of the disease development, several clinical variants of psychosis (delusive-delirious, delirious-amentive, and delirious-oneiric) are described. The correlation between the clinical and dynamic characteristics of the development and premorbid biological background with the peculiarities of the narcological history of the patient is demonstrated. The data demonstrate that providing adequate medical assistance leads to quick relief of psychosis through drug-induced sleep. Short postpsychotic asthenia is observed in few cases.
