Ways to develop the potential of an industrial enterprise in the context of the transition to the digital economy

This article is devoted to the study of ways to develop the innovative potential of an industrial enterprise in the context of the transition to the digital economy. One of the main factors in the development of innovation is a favorable environment and innovation climate, which stimulate the creation of innovations, to ensure the implementation of new ideas and developments in the products of the market and the introduction of these products in the economic and social spheres. The authors analyze the innovative potential of Russian industrial enterprises, consider the nature, composition and features of the innovative potential of industrial corporations. Within the framework of the study, the authors used the methods of logical research, forecasting, synthesis and analysis based on the system-information approach. In this paper, the authors analyze the measures necessary for the modernization of Russian industrial enterprises, and supplement the principles of innovation management at industrial enterprises. Practical recommendations on the development of the potential of Russian industrial enterprises in the context of the transition to the digital economy have been developed. Russian industrial enterprises should take into account the main factors of competitiveness in the digital economy in their activities. It is necessary to improve the training system for the digital economy and the overall improvement of digital skills of citizens. In the digital economy, transformation processes at the enterprise level should be carried out according to six projections. Russian industrial corporations need to take into account the experience of developing and implementing innovations in production activities. The development of innovative activities of enterprises should be supported by the state.
