Ways to improve legislation on self-protection of civil rights

The article deals with and identifies problematic issues of legislative regulation of the institution of self-defense of civil rights, in particular, the issue of distinguishing the concept of self-defense from other ways of regulating and restoring civil rights, proportionality and proportionality of self-defense is investigated. Based on the analysis of legislation, judicial practice, scientific literature and available publications in the periodical press, ways to improve legislation in this area are proposed.
