Текст научной статьи Quests as an interactive tool of patriotic education of youth

Today, more than ever, one of the main tasks of society is the Patriotic education of the younger generation. The sense of patriotism is multifaceted in content. This love for their homes, and pride in their people, its heroic past, and a sense of continuity with the outside world, and the desire to preserve and increase the wealth of their country.

A group of students of Kaluga branch of Ranepa developed a quest for younger students "Interactive journey to the places of military glory of Kaluga"within the project activity.

The relevance of the project was justified by the students by the fact that today's youth is more focused on Western values, does not feel a sense of pride for their Homeland, for the heroes-winners in the great Patriotic War. The current situation could be changed by modern interactive technologies in Patriotic education.

Therefore, the aim of the project activities of the group of freshmen was to develop such interactive means that they developed the cognitive activity of the younger generation, aimed at studying the culture, heroic past of Russian cities, contributed to the education of patriotism, love and respect for the traditions of the native land.

To achieve the goal, it was necessary to solve the following tasks: to determine the places of military glory of Kaluga; to collect materials on them, to make an interactive map; to develop quests; to enlist the support and ensure cooperation with employees of the regional Museum of local lore and librarians of Kaluga; to prepare leaflets and brochures.

The study of scientific, popular literature, the media, the Internet has shown that in education, as in education, it is necessary to use modern interactive methods.

Interactive education is a special form of organization of cognitive activity, a way of cognition, carried out in the form of joint activities, when all participants of the process interact with each other, exchange information, solve problems together, model situations, evaluate the actions of others and their own behavior, plunge into the real atmosphere of business cooperation to solve the problem. One of the goals is to create a comfortable environment for the interaction process, such that the subject feels successful, his intellectual capacity, which makes the process of learning and education productive [1, p.1].

That's why traveling is really the places of military glory of Kaluga, the communication process is organized in such a way that the subject is involved in the process of cognition, has the ability to understand and reflect over what he knows and thinks.

The city of Kaluga has glorious historical, martial and creative traditions. Traditions of martial heroism embodied in the places of military glory, the memorial complex, the names of streets and squares, as well as in the memory of citizens. This is the Victory monument "Motherland", a memorial complex to the defenders of the Motherland at the military cemetery, monuments to nurses, soldiers of the 50th army, "Tank", a war veteran, prisoners of Nazi concentration camps, war heroes – fellow countrymen G. K. Zhukov and A. T. Karpov, the exposition" Kaluga region during the great Patriotic war "in the regional Museum of local lore and other glorious heroic sights.

Quest is a cultural platform, which is based on a variety of entertainment and gaming concepts designed to contribute to the information and educational activities of the game, which, in turn, allows you to make the learning process and education more popular and democratic [2].

Created by a group of students quests-travel to places of military glory of Kaluga were tested on groups of Junior students of a number of Kaluga schools. Conversations with students, their teachers, parents, as well as conducted a survey of quest participants allowed students to verify the importance, necessity and timeliness of the developed and conducted activities.

We believe that the implementation of the project will achieve the following results: promoting the development of domestic tourism; expanding local history information on the Internet; increasing the number of participants in military-Patriotic events; increasing the flow of tourists in the city; increasing the sense of patriotism of the younger generation, love and respect for the traditions of the hometown.

The students of the Kaluga branch of Ranepa actively participate in various government programs [3, p. 60], international, national conferences, competitions, contests, [4, p. 5], demonstrating the successful development necessary for acquiring competences.
