Questions for assessment of primary perception were made up in a way that allowed to check the accuracy or arbitrariness of the reader's emotions in relation to what they have read and the level of comprehension of the contents of the work. 1) What is your attitude to the main character of the story? 2) What, do you think, Acacius Akakiyevich is like? 3) Why does the author call the general "a person of importance", and not by the name? 4) What episodes seemed to you ridiculous and what - sad? 5) What was, in your opinion, Gogol’s aim in giving a fantastic ending to a realistic story? 6) What questions came to your mind after reading the story? The analysis of the pupils’perception of Gogol’s story spurred us to try some elements of work with literary text technology, developed by N. L. Mishatina. The technology, called by the author “linguistic concept-centered approach”, will ensure learning the language and mastering the speech in the context of culture by coordination of various levels of proficiency in language, at verbal and semantic, linguo-cognitive as well as at motivational level.
