Radiation control of objects of veterinary supervision in the Republic of Tatarstan

As a result of radiometric studies of the radiological Department of veterinary laboratory of the state budgetary institution "Republican veterinary laboratory" of Kazan in the basic areas of the Republic of Tatarstan on the content of cesium-137 and strontium-90 for the period 2012-2015 identified that the specific radioactivity of the investigated objects of veterinary supervision in the analyzed years was changed 2-3 times, but has not reached a critical level. It is proved that the observance of veterinary and sanitary requirements allows to obtain a radiation-safe, legal and environmentally friendly agricultural products.
