The analysis of literature devoted to modern methods of neuroimaging and achievements in the field of application of artificial intelligence algorithms for the analysis of medical images with brain neoplasms in adults and children is carried out. The development of such areas as radiomics and radiogenomics in neuro-oncology is discussed. The authors present their own experience on the basis of radiologic analysis of diffuse brain stem gliomas of pediatric age in Russian Scientific Center of Roentgenoradiology (RSCRR).
