Radionuclide therapy of the of low risk, differentiated thyroid carcinoma

We present the results of diagnostics and treatment of 30 patients with Т 1N 0М 0 thyroid carcinoma, who received radionuclide therapy with 131I in various terms after surgery. The obtained data show that after thyroidectomy the residual thyroid tissue can be detected in the majority of patients, and in 20% of them the regional metastases are found.
