Laryngeal cancer in Tyumen region in 2014-2018

The article gives a brief overview of the epidemiology larynx of cancer (LC) in the Tyumen region (TR) and the Russian Federation (RF) for the period 2014-2018. During the study period, an increase in the incidence rate of the laryngeal cancer population was noted. The decrease in the proportion of patients with malignant neoplasms of the larynx in the Tyumen region identified during preventive examinations from 6.78% (2014) to 1.52% (2018) is due to the incomplete coverage of the population of the Tyumen region with preventive examinations, as well as a lack of modern diagnostic methods in practice laryngeal cancer. In the Tyumen region for 2014-2018 there is a tendency to increase the specific gravity of patients with advanced stages of malignant neoplasia of the larynx when these patients are actively detected. Mortality of the population from the AO of the larynx for the period 2014-2018 decreased both in TR, and in the Russian Federation. The increase in mortality for the analyzed period is negative and amounts to -2.56% in TR; in the Russian Federation - -13.3%.
